How to Request a Tattoo

Use the booking form linked on this page to request a tattoo. This include custom ideas and flash tattoos. Please no emails, texts, or Instagram DMs about booking, I can’t keep track of them! If there isn’t a button to submit, it means I’m not currently accepting new requests.
I prioritize FLASH REQUESTS, available flash can all be viewed here. For custom requests, I prioritize black+gray and linework, though I am accepting a minimal amount of color tattoo projects that involve solid color-blocking and some blending.
No placements on palms, feet, necks, or heads.
I review requests based on creative interest and/or my ability to tattoo it well. Please don’t take it personally if I don’t feel I’m a good fit for your idea!
I respond to accepted requests via email - check your Spam! I wish I had the capacity to respond to every request, but at this time I am only able to respond to accepted projects.

Scheduling & Deposits

The acceptance email will include links for scheduling and paying your deposit. Please do both of these steps in a timely manner to ensure you get a spot in the calendar as it can fill up quickly.
I tattoo Wednesday - Saturday, 10am - 6pm and usually book in 3-month segments.
I typically schedule 1-hour, 2-hour, 3-hour (half-day), or 6-hour (full day) sessions. I will do my best to let you know in advance if I think the tattoo will take longer than scheduled. I only charge for time under the needle.
I require a $50 deposit for appointments up to 2 hours, and $100 for appointments that are 3 hours or more. Failure to pay the deposit within 48 hours of scheduling will forfeit your time slot.
Deposits go toward the total cost of the tattoo and are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule for any reason, I require 72 hours advance notice (3 days) or you will be required to pay another deposit in order to reschedule. The deposit then covers the missed appointment.

Designs & Drawings

I only begin drawing after the deposit has been placed (in other words, I do not mock-up ideas prior to booking!)
If you would like a consultation, we can schedule to meet in-person or over Google Meet after you’ve placed your deposit. I do not charge for consultations.
I typically send drawings the day before the appointment for you to look over and provide any edits. Upon request (with enough notice), I’m happy to send a draft up to 3 days in advance. I can provide up to 2 rounds of edits. Any major changes outside of your original request will be subject to my hourly rate and/or rescheduling of your appointment.
I prefer to work out smaller tweaks and edits together in person once you’ve arrived for your appointment, it goes much quicker!
I do not copy other artist’s work directly and will be recreating any reference material into my own style. Exceptions to this are drawings by your family and friends, or designs you’ve purchased from another artist specifically to get tattooed, which I review case-by-case.

At the Appointment

Prep: Get a good night’s sleep, eat a full meal at least an hour beforehand, and bring a valid government-issued ID, water and snacks!
Location: Address and parking info for my home studio at Wild Isley Tattoo is here. Please note where our entrance is before you arrive!
Payment: You’ll pay the remaining balance at the end of your appointment. I accept cash, Venmo, and card at the studio (cash/Venmo is preferred!)
Bringing guests: you are more than welcome to bring someone with you to your tattoo appointment, but due to limited space please limit it to one additional person. We do not allow animals in the studio, and infants/young children should have another adult present to supervise them.

Booking A Touch-Up

Touch-ups are free and must be booked within one year of completing the original tattoo.
Please note that fine-line tattoos will often require a touch-up due to the healing process of fine line work - I do my best to let people know this in advance if I feel your tattoo may require touch-ups.
